For the ramen connoisseur who wants the finest in life, there’s no better gift than this special set — the sankaku ramen bowl and the Collector’s Edition of Volume 02: Ramen, complete with vacuum-sealed Real Instant NoodlesTM on the cover.

In a limited edition production with family-run bookbinders Shinohara Shiko, we are proud to present this volume of interviews, essays, recipes, articles, illustrations, and photographs exploring how people relate to ramen. The stories in this book run the gamut from the challenges of halal ramen and the rise of a tiny family-run noodle-making business, to meditations on searching for home in a bowl of ramen and the experience of eating ramen in space.

50 of the 100 copies of the Collector’s Edition are available online. The collector’s edition is a Bradel-bound hardback with vacuum-sealed Real Instant NoodlesTM as part of the cover. It comes in a custom-made cardboard box and includes a sticker sheet of motifs from the Ramen Bowl design process.

The book features: Ramen Young, Ayam Ya Karasuma, Food Diversity, Asakusa Kaikarou, 5AM Ramen, Naoko Yamazaki, Maruhiro, YABAI YABAI.

As for the Ramen Bowl? We made a porcelain bowl we wanted to eat out of; it’s perfect for instant noodles, but also curry, soup, rice — whatever your heart desires.
